We recognize that certain situations may require you to submit a background check on behalf of an individual. (Ex: a nursery worker that does not use email). While we are looking at ways to provide that functionality for you in a more secure fashion, here are two suggestions on how you might do so now.
(1) Add or change the email address of the individual to a secure email your ministry has access to. Once you've done so, order the background check, and you'll receive the background check email. (Screenshot below). Fill out the form on behalf of the applicant, then change the email in your ChMS to what it was before.
(2) Opt-Out of this Update.
If your ministry runs background checks for individuals regularly, you can opt-out of receiving these new update using the form below.
Again, before you make this choice, we would strongly advise you consider how much you "really" need to run background checks on behalf of individuals. (Consider - while it's easier to use just one password for everything, we've all seen how that can quickly lead to identity theft). While it is sometimes more "convient" to simply gather an individual's information, is it worth the risk to your organization?
